Ralph B. Sipper established Joseph The Provider/Books, an internationally known rare-book firm in 1970. Since 1996 he has been conducting business under his own name. He is a member of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America and has served on that organization's board of governors. The business papers, correspondence, and professional writings of Ralph Sipper repose at Indiana University's Lilly Library.
