[Photography]. Beaton, Cecil. ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH OF KATHARINE HEPBURN . 10" x 13". The actress, clad in a black leather raincoat, smiles broadly at the camera, hands jauntily thrust in her coat pockets. Beaton chose the coat for the actress' use in the 1969 Broadway musical, "Coco," and was also the play's set designer. Hepburn has inscribed the photograph: "David, affectionately, Kate." The recipient, David Eichler, was a close friend of Hepburn's and the two corresponded for sixty years. Photograph. Fine.
