Norman, Dorothy. TWO TLS

$500.00

on her Twice A Year letterhead to William Saroyan. April 1 and May 19, 1941. In her editorial capacity she asks Saroyan: "Do you have anything -- particularly a story having to do with children ... to send me for Twice A Year?" Norman also wants: "very much to have you and Louise Rainer meet ... I have a feeling it would be right. Just as I felt it about you and Henry Miller." We have been unable to determine whether Saroyan and the two-time Academy Award-winning actress did indeed meet. About 200 words.
